Catholic Secondary Principals Association in South
Australia
Our Identity
The Association of Principals of Catholic Secondary Schools, (APCSS), derives its identity
from the collective contribution of leaders of Catholic Secondary School communities
within the wider South Australian context.
This identity is forged by our shared understandings of the realities of contemporary
Catholic schooling and our mission to evangelise those we serve.
Our Association's charisma emanates from those qualities of mutual acceptance, openness,
trust and respect which we aspire to foster in our own communities. We acknowledge there
is a need to respond to the prophetic and to serve beyond our immediate needs, recognising
a greater good is achieved when we work and plan collaboratively.
We see our Association as assisting our formation both individually and collectively and
in so doing, recognise a responsibility to participate in this formation.
We strive to enable our schools to be places of justice which provide a preferential
option for the poor.
Our Goals
- To provide a forum for discussion, reflection and
evaluation.
- To speak and act collegially for Catholic Secondary
Schooling as required.
- To support each other as colleagues and friends.
- To advance Education through active programs and support for
